Initial Inspection

Our comprehensive service delivers detailed network schematics of your entire low-voltage (LV) system — from the transformer right through to every distribution board. Using advanced cable tracing technology, we accurately map cable routes, sizes, types, and panel locations without the need for system isolation. Every distribution board, switch panel, and MCC panel is clearly identified, giving you full visibility and traceability back to source. It’s a smarter, safer way to support ongoing compliance and reduce risk across your electrical infrastructure
Panel Maintenance
Panel maintenance is essential for the safety, reliability, and compliance of your electrical systems. We carry out detailed inspections on both MCC and Main LV Panels, assigning a RAG rating based on identified risks. All LV components are stripped, cleaned, and torqued, with key characteristics like earthing arrangements and protective devices recorded. This level of detail is often missed during EICRs due to isolation limitations, making our service a vital part of maintaining a compliant and resilient system.

Initial Inspection
Our full initial inspection gives us a complete understanding of your site’s electrical infrastructure. We’ll map the installation, produce schematic drawings, identify and label all distribution boards, and carry out a detailed inspection. All Code 1, 2, and FI observations are instantly available to you via CertivoHub, giving you immediate visibility and control.
Step 2
Full EICR
A full EICR is essential to confirm your electrical installation is safe for continued use. During testing, we assess all protective devices and check the integrity of your cabling. Once complete, each distribution board is assigned its own detailed report, which will be uploaded to CertivoHub for easy access and full visibility.
Step 3
Remedial Action
As a duty holder, you're legally required to address any dangerous observations. Certivo Compliance can handle the remedial work, or your chosen electrician can take over—with full access to the defects via CertivoHub. Using our built-in Minor Works forms or declaration tools, signing off danger notices is quick and straightforward.
